I come to you all from a whol ein the wall, un-airconditioned internet cafe above Limerick's O'Connell street. Love it. Haha. Actually I am quite tired. I had a pretty smooth flight in. Two of the kids just arrived, or should have. I've been out of the hotel for a bit. I braved the bus to save money (cabs always are expensive wherever ever I go) and then got off the bus and had no idea where to go. The bus driver was so sweet and tried describing it. Though i think the whole time he was getting directions I was just trying to concentrate on keeping a bright simle on my face and remembering to thank him. The door then closed and I had no idea where Lower Mallow Street was. So I walked around Limerick at 7:30am (2:30am your time) with suitcase in tow until I found a tourist center. Inside I was screaming "That's me! I'm a tourist! Help me!". But on the outside I tried staying calm. Haha. So then it was closed. But luckily someone was thoughtful enough to tape a map to the window so I could navigate. And I did quite successfully right up to the hotel. Since then its just kind of been a lot of orientating, sleeping and a bit of exploring. Last night my new friend and classmate John and I went out for a Guinness, yes mom, I had my first one. But jsut one over the course of like an hour while we watched the English football game from the bar. John seems realy nice. he isn't even an art student. Just here to try it out. I guess I'll be at school with all kinds of students! And its great! The other girl is pretty quiet. As in she wont talk unless you talk to her. I thought I was quiet. False. I feel like I am talking everyone's head off so that way there arent tons of awkward silences. And our advisor here Lisa tries to talk a lot too. I feel like if we were at dinner jsut us it would really go well. haha. But maybe once Hannah, quiet girl, warms up it will be ok. Alright, now I'm being a hypocrite becuase I said I didnt want to hear about your details like what you had fro breakfast and now I'm babbling on about everything. My euro is almost up so I think I'm going to scoot. No pictures for right now but they'll be here soon. I have 24 hr access to the internet at school so no worries, I'll ahve skype before you know it. Ohhhhh. I forgot. I've heard David Gray like 4 separate times now in various places. Love it! This Years Love came on on the bus from the airport and it made me feel less alone. Gotta love music. :P Love and miss you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My mobile will be up and running soon. and I get incoming calls from the U.s. right now for free. At least I think that is what the vodaphone guy said. I had to get a new one because apparently they had to unlock auntie helen's and stuff and it was only like 20 euro more and much less time to get a new one. Its adorable. Ok, time to go. Love you!

Hey Liz!
Great to hear from you!!! I'm not sure when to call so let me know when it might be a good time. When do you actually get to school? John sounds nice and I'm sure Hannah will warm up. Just give her time. What's the city like? Sounds like the bus drivers are nice! Anyway, look forward to talking to you soon!
Love you, Mom
P.S. Not problem with the Guiness. Your of age in Ireland! Did you like it? Not my favorite but I'll pretend when we are over there! XO
XOXOXO from CT!
Cheers - enjoy Limerick!

Oh yes, Hannah and I are roommates so it'll be great. The other ifsa utler kids arrived from chicago and are great. Just met the rest in the house and there are only about 15 undergrads so this should be quite the experience. Love you all!!!!
